Little Candelie crept into the group of cats, shy and nervous.
And she did not come empty-handed! No, she brought a gift for
the felines. "Hi. Me. Candelie. Brought. Present. For. Cats."
She said cautiously, not wanting to be harmed. She would
understand if she was treated with hostility, though.

Emptypromises, who was a member of RainClan, spotted her. The
assistant deputy stood up, keeping his broken paw off the ground
and limping towards her. He winced as his paw brushed against a
branch but shook his head as if clearing the pain away. The
brown tabby asked, "What are you here for, little one?" The tom
had not heard her from the distance he had been at.

"Me. Candelie. Gift. For. Cats." The deaf feline mewed, reading
the assistant deputy's lips with expert skill. Her hooked claws
scraped nervously against the soil, and she set the hefty book
at his paws. It was a big book of poems, Volume Two of the
series. It consisted of one of her favorite poems, 'Nocturnal
Creatures' ( which elenia posted on her poems ). She thought it
was a proper present, and she hoped they would enjoy the poems
that she had loved.

Partystreamers, who was already healed here, was immediately
there at the words 'gift'. "Did somebody say 'gift'?!" She said
cheerfully, trotting in bouncily over to Candelie.
