[center]abduel padded out of camp, into the east alley. it was
one of the creepiest alleys, with skulls lining the walls and
spine bones littering the ground. and as he walked, he started
to regret choosing this alley. she was so little! wouldn't she
be frightened?[/center]

Katana was the opposite of frightened - she was excited and
surprised. Her mother, before dying from some rat disease, ha
told her stories of the alleys. Of actual skeletons and dead
bodies lining the sides. So this, compared to what she thought
it was, was nothing. "Wow!" The little lynx scooped up one of
the skulls and raced forward, catching up to Abduel. "This is
what you are, right? The skull?"

the head of the clan, the skull." he murmured, tapping his skull
to make the point clear. she was a bright youngster! he
accidentally crushed a sliver of bone undr his paw, but wasn't

She smiled brightly, happy she was doing something right. The
female tucked the skull back where it was and trotted after him.
She would make him a present later, to show she appreciated this
walk.
