[center]abduel stirred in his scoop, blinking open chocolate
optics. he had slept fitfully that night, tossing and turning.
oh, his scoop was comfortable; the skull's scoop was always the
largest. but there was always those nights where you had
trouble.
he leaped into the pillar cavity in the center of camp, looking
at the scoops in the floor at the edge of camp, and their
inhabitants. he looked at all the alleys they could hunt in
today; and those were only the main ones. there were lesser ones
that veered off from the main ones.
but a true member of the monochrome never got lost. it was as if
you were born with a map of the catacombs imprinted in your
mind. it was a wonderful thing. and so, abduel waited for
everybody to wake up.[/center]

Katana was beginning to wake up in the tiny little scoop she
chose to live in. The female just barely fit, and even though
snug, she was quite comfortable. Stretching out her massive
front paws, she stood up and yawned.

delilah, a small, adorable red panda had been awake for a while
now, out in the alleys, just walking. unlike most members of the
monochrome, she was a vegetarian. the red panda eventually found
her way out of the alleys and out of the catacombs. she stopped
after a few yards and turned towards a bush, gnawing a branch
full of berries off and carrying it back into their home.

[center]"clovis, would you like to lead a hunting patrol through
the southwest main alley? we haven't hunted there in a while.
take dandelion and delilah when she gets back." he asked,
twitching his whiskers. for the past two weeks, humans had been
taking a tour through the southwest alley. like everytime there
was a tour, they blocked the entrance to camp, making it seem
like a dead end. the foolish creatures believed it was a dead
end. idiots.
but now the humans were gone, and they had taken down the
barrier. they were free to access that alley again, though he
wasn't sure how many rodents would be there after a bunch of
noisy humans. but they'd try. besides, he was thinking of
promoting clovis. this would help prove clovis would be either a
good backbone, or a bad backbone.
"yes, i know dandelion is a hand, but everybody's gotta chip in
with hunting every once in a while." the canadian lynx added.

Dandelion looked up at the lynx and narrowed his eyes. "Im not
going hunting. I was never tought properly how to hunt anyways."

pillar cavity and over to the cheetah. size didn't matter in
this situation, unless you counted size in rank-wise. and he was
the top dog. or top lynx. whatever! "what did you just say? the
hand is a necessary position, yet they even obey the orders of
the skull. my order to you was to go on the hunting patrol. and
that is what you will do, correct?" he said, trying to keep his
cool.[/center]
