Night nodded and flicked her tail, thinking. "Hmm... maybe..."
she pouted and tapped her paw against the ground. The only
thought she could conjure up was that he wanted to impress her
because he liked her. But she didn't want to take the chance to
be even more embarrassed, so she played dumb. "Ehh. I give up."

answer. he let out a relieved sigh before giving her a small
smile. "good try. it's tricky, though. you may never guess it."
he purred mysteriously, slinking behind her so quickly she'd
probably wonder where he was.[/center]

"That's not my answer! I just..." Night looked to the ground. "I
have a guess, but I guess I'm to... scared to ask." A leader,
scared? Its moments like this where she wished she wasn't
leader, or medicine cat, so she could be scared without fear of
being scared. She squeaked as the gray-and-white tom
'disappeared', but kept her gaze facing forward. Maybe it would
be easy asking when she wasn't face to face with him? The
Egyptian Mau gave a short sigh again and flicked her ear.
"Alright... I'm thinking that you want to impress me because...
you like me?" She was having a conflicting moment. She wanted
him to say no, so she wouldn't have to think about her feelings
for him or worry about the fact that he would be leaving the
tribe. But she wanted him to say yes to save her embarrassment
and make her think about herself for once.

The female looked up at him, her purple eyes holding a mix of
emotions. One part of her wanted to tear him to pieces, since
this was technically assault towards a superior. But another
part wanted to wrap her paws around his neck and pull him into a
hug. She decided to listen to the latter.
"You... love me?" It was a hard concept to think of. Her, being
loved, by a male, other than her brothers. Crazy, right? Night
brought her paws up and wrapped them around his neck, nuzzling
his cheek and giving it a lick. "How can you assume that?" She
asked. "That I don't... love you?"

Night wiggled uncomfortably. Just the thought of a male on top
of her made her uncomfortable, no matter the circumstances.
"Photobomb? That tom loves everyone." She murmured.
