       Danielle sat lazily on her porch outside, feeling the wood grain
       under her slender fingers. It didn't feel too good. Ow! A
       splinter! Dani looked at her finger and plucked the splinter out
       carefully, but not without drawing some blood. She snorted and
       sucked on her finger, to try to get the bleeding to stop. She
       eventually succeeded. It was only a little bit of blood. Not too
       much. Dani stood up and walked forward off of the porch. She was
       in the neighborhood now, but in her backyard- oh, her backyard
       was the woods, that's one of the sides it came out from. She
       used to like exploring there until her adopted papa found out.
       It seemed she had so many adopted family. She loved them, yes,
       but who was her REAL family?

       Penelope was zooming around on her pink scooter, until she
       spotted Dani in her backyard. She pulled off her helmet, which
       exposed her poofy red hair. "Hey Dani!" She called cheerfully,
       waving to the girl.
