       The lower I get the h i g h e r I'll climb [open]

She couldn't take it anymore! The cats she loved kept on dying--
first Fairytale, then Spidereye, and the RainClan medic was sure
there would be more. Even though her friend Fairy had been
reincarnated into a deer, it just wasn't the same. It seemed as
if it was so easy for everyone else to get over them. They'd
mourn for some time, but then they just moved on and seemed to
forget about them. Streamflow never forgot any of their deaths.
They haunted her every day. She feared her own death. She feared
that she would disappear from her Clanmates' memories just like
       other dead cats'.
And yet she looked forward to it in a way. There would be no
more suffering, no more daily emotional torture when she saw her
only crush in love with one of her best friends. There would be
no drama when she was dead and no more fussing over her
Clanmates and worrying about them. Best of all she would be
reunited with all of her dead companions. Perhaps she'd even see
her mother; she missed her so much! Though she hadn't been the
best of parents, Streamflow still loved her a lot. It would be
great to see her again after all this time.
This would be the perfect time to die. Everyone was busy dealing
with the earthquake or whatever. In all the commotion and all
the clans bunched together, she could just slip away unnoticed.
She gulped, holding back painful tears, and headed for the
river. She supposed drowning herself would be appropriate. If
anyone ever found her body they would think it was just a little
accident. She didn't think she'd be able to handle it if anyone
found out she'd killed herself on purpose. She already felt
       guilty enough.
There she was, at the edge of the river. The medic looked down
at the swirling depths below, and gazed at her distorted silver
reflection as the water bobbed along. With one last deep breath
Streamflow leaped in, giving herself no time to rethink this.
She felt the pain of slamming onto the rocks below the surface.
Water filled her lungs as she gasped for air, and suddenly she
didn't want to do this anymore. It was scary and painful and
what the actual fukk dud she think she was doing? Her Clanmates
needed her more than ever! She tried without success to lift her
face above water to breath. The current was pulling her down and
she was too weak to fight it. Please, StarClan! I know I'm
stupid! Please! Just someone, anyone, help me!

Emptypromises, as usual, had been swimming in the river. He
heard a splash and made his way over just as he saw Streamflow
go under. Eyes wide, he dove under, trying to grab her scruff
       and pull her out.

She felt someone grab her scruff and immediately went limp so
she'd be easier to pull out. Thank you! I love you forever
       whoever you are!
       Whoop, there goes the muse

Eppy easily pulled her out. These were the times he loved being
one of the best swimmers in the Clan. He waited a bit to see if
       she'd wake up.
       [[hey pudding
raven and i had an idea
during the trip to their new home eppy will die, possess a
kitty, then fall in love with stream for some time while he
       remembers who he is]]

       [okie dokes :3]
She coughed up a bunch of water and laid on her side like a rag
doll, concentrating on just trying to breathe. Everything hurt.
This was the worst idea she'd ever had. The medic craned her
neck to look up at her savior. Oh. I already do love you
forever. she put her head down and coughed again.

"I slipped and fell," she lied. "And banged onto a rock and got
hurt." The story seemed believable to her.

He replied, "You're not bleeding, so you're lying about getting
       hurt."
