A silky tabby walked cautiously through the desert. This surely
wasn't her home! She blinked nervously, tucking her ringed tail
between her legs like a pooch. Rosalinda called out shyly,
"Alguien aquí?"

Coalstar slowly approached the female with hunched shoulders and
a suspicious glare. What did she just say? He lifted up his
large head, studying her silently for a few moments. "Who the
hell are you and what are you doing here?" he demanded, having
not fully heard her first foreign call for help.

What did he just say? He sounded angry at her! She flattened tan
ears and took a step back, whimpering slightly. "Por favor, no
me daño!"

Dancingpaw walked over to hear her talk and said, "Oh, of
course. A Spanish cat. Just great. You're lucky I know it. One
of the benefits of living with Twolegs as a kit." The she-cat
meowed, "Mi nombre es Dancingpaw. Esta es Coalstar. Dirige
nuestro clan, AshClan. Nosotros vivimos aquí. Soy un aprendiz de

"What the hell?" Coalstar growled to himself quietly, glaring at
Dancingpaw, then at the new she-cat. Spanish? That's great, now
I got intruders speaking twoleg language. Just perfect. Although
clearly annoyed, the muscular tabby tom gave in and sat down,
letting the translator help him out.

She nodded and smiled out of relief. So someone understood her!
"No soy de aquí, evidentemente," she mewed with a slight laugh.
"No sé si mi familia nunca me encontrarán. Estoy completamente
perdido. Supongo que me quedaré con ustedes." She disregarded
the angry looking gray tabby, a little scared to confront him.

Dancingpaw smiled slightly and replied, "Bueno, voy a hablar con

apprentice turned to Coalstar and told him, "She's not from
around here and she's lost. She doesn't know where her family is

Sharpclaw, who was out doing who knows what, over heard the
other cat speaking. Well that sounded freakily familiar but not
at the same time. What the crap? The dark brown cat padded over
to join the group. "What's going on?"

He looked confused as well. I thought all cats spoke the same

towards the she-cat and asked, "¿Cuál es su nombre?"
