Emptypromises sat by a stump, eating a squirrel. It had been
hours since he'd last eaten and he was starving.

Fallingstar left her den, her pretty round face lifted high and
her sea green gaze scanning the RainClan clearing. She felt too
lazy and selfish resting and thinking inside of her den while
her Clan was working their butts off. Well, maybe not so hard,
but the bengal she-cat was tired of sitting around when she
could be more active. Spotting her assistant deputy,
Emptypromises, she decided it wouldn't hurt to chat for a little
while before going on a patrol or something. She needed to get
to know him more because, surprisingly, she didn't see him that
often. Which was good, that probably meant he was keeping
himself busy. "Hello, Emptypromises. Hungry, are we?" she smiled
jokingly.

The tom heard Fallingstar and tensed, thinking he would get in
trouble for not doing anything but relaxing when she just teased
him. With a sheepish grin, Emptypromises replied, "Yeah, I
haven't eaten since I woke up." FInishing off the prey, he stood
up and stretched out, yawning. Once he was all stretched out,
Eppy asked, "How've you been, Fallingstar?"

Fallingstar gave the assistant deputy a small smirk of
satisfaction and amusement before it softened back into her
default expression, a respectful smile. "Very good, thank you.
You?" the gray bengal questioned, swiping her eyelids over her
optics as well as grooming her lifted wide paw.
