[ i had the random urge to do this. just a love plot without any
plots thought out ahead of time. it could end up a one night
stand or them being lifelong mates. whatever, i'm bored<3 ]
Red, a female rusty-colored orange tabby, wandered around
happily.

A black serval wandered around as well, bored out of his mind.
And hungry. Gosh darn it, there was no prey out here. Foxglove
grumbled to himself grumpily.

Red stopped in her tracks almost immediately when she caught a
scent, and without even thinking about what it could be, the
daring she-cat began to head towards it with the normal boldness
blazing in her amber gaze. When she made out the figure of a
very tall cat, some hesitation struck her, but she bravely
approached the male anywho. "Who are you and what are you doing
here?" she demanded sharply as if it were her territory they
were standing on. She was simply making fun, though, since she
was too lazy to mark her borders even if it were hers. But this
tabby was rash, and I know threatening an animal bigger and
stronger than you is a very unwise idea. Of course she didn't
realize or think about these things 'til after she was in
trouble.

B.tch, I'll end you. the black tom obviously found her statement
hilarious, as a toothy smirk grew wider on his maw. "I'm Fox,"
the serval responded, leaving out the rest of his name because
being named after a flower was freaking embarrassing. He ignored
the second part of the question because it was stupid.

Red grinned as well after the serval revealed his name. Or half
name, I should say. "That's...nice. I'm Red!" she responded,
dropping the act and trying to be friendly for once. Of course,
she had a hard time trying to compliment the name Fox. Not that
hers was much better.

Red smiled for a short moment before sitting down and staring at
him blankly. "So uh...What are you, exactly? I mean, you kinda
look like a cat at the same time you're..." she began, tilting
her head and studying him thoughtfully while searching for the
correct words. "...super tall! And you're face features are a
bit different," she finished observantly, but not so much
politely.

He looked to the side self-consciously, flicking a rounded black
ear. "I'm still a cat," he mewed gruffly. "Just a sort of..
Wildish breed? I'm more closely related to our ancestors,
wildcats, than small fries like you. I'm a serval." He waited
quietly for her to respond after his long four sentence speech.
He was used to communicating in one-word sentences.

"So, what you're trying to say is...you're cooler than me?" she
purred teasingly as her body formed into a play bow and her tail
lashed back and forth like a whip. "I'm wild...er!" she giggled,
dropping onto the ground and rolling onto her back. Her head
flopped backwards so she could study the upside down figure, the
top/back of her cranium pressed against the ground. "You do look
really cool though," she admitted honestly, soon putting on a
simple shameless smile.
