THE DAYLIGHT WILL NEVER COME { open }

[center][font=trebuchet ms]jasper ran through the tribe of the
falling flowers territory, eyes wide and wild with terror and
panic. emde was nearing! trees behind him fell to the ground as
a huge shadow crushed them, trying to catch the brown tabby.
i've almost got you now! a voice cackled in his mind, and the
image of huge, sharp fangs flashed before his eyes. heart
pounding, he let out a shriek.
sharp pain shot through his left hind leg, and he stumbled until
collapsing. another scream escaped his lips as shadowed fangs
pierced his forehead. blood dripped in front of his eyes,
blinding him.
then, jasper blacked out. the shadowed beast laughed. it was
about to make the killing blow, until he realized where he was.
damn it. he cursed, then disappeared with his victim layig
there, unconcious.[/font][/center]

Princess picked some flowers sprouting at the edge of camp by
nipping the bottom of the stem and then rolling the pretty plant
under her belly where a pile them already lay. But after being
around such aromatic things, the nauseating smell of blood made
her heart stop. And it definitely wasn't a piece of old prey
someone forgot to bury, it was a body of her own kind. "Mommy?
Daddy?" she squeaked, hoping to see her healing parents' faces.
But as they didn't turn up too quickly, the kitten slowly left
the camp to at least find out who it was. Luckily it wasn't too
far away from camp to get her lost and was close enough to call
out for the medicine cats. Oh no... She stared in panic at the
bleeding body. "Somebody help!" she screeched.

The leader's ears pricked as she heard Princess's screech,
immidiately rising to her paws and letting her eyes widen. Even
though she was still under the influence of her parents, she
knew better than to just let someone call for help. Tearing out
of the camp, the silver and black female raced after the
terrified voice of Princess. Night soon appeared beside the two
bodies, one clearly in a forced sleep.
"I'm here, Princess." she assured the smaller she-cat, even
though she herself was panicking on the inside. "Just try to
find Rapidfire or Dawn, I'll stay here and try to clean the
blood." she ordered quickly, sniffing the body. It was easy to
tell if the tom was alive, but it wasn't easy to tell if he was
on the bridge to death. One slight movement might kill him if he
had really bad injuries. Once assured that he didn't have that
many injuries, as far as she could see, the female attempted to
clean the scar.

Spotted Path darted out of the camp like a rabbit out of a fox
hole. "What's going on? Woah..." Well that wasn't super
fantastic. Hopefully the guy wouldn't die. That would just flat
out suck. "I'll go get someone to help. Princess, you can come
with me." The younger cat didn't need to see that. It was
just.... ah.

[center]Dawn was inside camp just cleaning up and the normal
stuff when she heard the screech. Her daughters voice. She
dropped everything and watched as Night ran out, frozen with
fear. But she quickly snapped out of it and followed after
regrabbing some herbs just in case.[/center]

Too bad the innocent kitten had already seen the injured corpse
and the delicate female slowly backed away. Princess stood by
the deputy, attempting to snap herself out of the shock she was
by glancing around. But of course, her little body was still
shaking furiously and all she could to was wish it would stop.
She wished she was brave like everyone else, but right she was
scared to death. Turning her head, she spotted Dawn approaching
the group with, hopefully, the needed herbs for the job. She
wanted to charge over to her mother and stuff herself in her
warm, comforting fur and scent, but the medicine cat had a job
to do. Having no where else to go, Princess hid her face in
Spotted Path's shoulder. She wanted to be with Dawn so badly,
but Mom was busy, and she didn't want to be here either.

Spotted flicker her tail over Princess's shoulders. "It's ok.
Dawn will fix him up and it'll be fine. Lets get back to camp."
she meowed befur gently leading her back to camp. Hopefully she
would leave her with her dad and get back to see what was going
on. But kit first. Half dead stranger later.

Princess nodded slowly and stayed quite close to the friendly
she-cat as they headed back to camp.

[center]She rasped her tongue over her daughters head and sent
her off with Spotted.
She grabbed some cobwebs and pressed them onto the tom worried
that it would soak through.[/center]
