Hissingfly was resting in his den, tail curled around his body
in boredom. A frown was on his face as he was trying to think of
things to do. It was a slow day.

Warkit sighed, resting his head on his paws and flicking his
tail. It was so boring today, and there was nothing to do. Maybe
he could go find his father and talk to him. Turning around, he
saw Hissingstar and trotted over, sitting down. "Hi," he mewed,
perking his ears.

The young tom looked down at his son. A little brown tabby...
For some reason, he felt jealousy when he looked at Warkit. Was
it because his felt was more decorated? Or was it because it
seemed like Warkit's father could be someone else? Hissingfly
knew damn well that Gala would never cheat on him, so maybe it
was the first reason.
He hoped it was the first reason.
"Hey, kid." he greeted his son with a small smile. He never
really encountered a conversation with any of his children.

Warkit sat down, clinging to his fathers leg and lashing his
tail. The small kitten purred, "Can you spend some time with me
Dad? Please?" He pouted, looking up at him with puppy dog eyes.

The tom felt shivers go down his back. It was... weird, being a
father. Especially when you had to expect things like this from
his kits. At least it was only from ones he cared about. "Why
not?" he asked with a shrug.
