Phoenixpaw huffed quietly and had her gaze focused on the
ground. Deliriadreams finally got to her, yes, but was it enough
for her to finally admit her feelings? Hmm? She didn't know.

Emptypromises lay on the ground, thinking. He felt bad, because
it probably hurt Phoenixpaw that he cared about other cats. It
wasn't his fault; he just didn't want them to feel bad. It was
easy to tell Storypaw had been upset. It was slightly harder to
tell that Streamflow was. The reason he was jealous of
Deliriadreams was because she never spent any time with him
anymore, and fought with him more and more. The tom was jealous
that she always spent time with Strangledfox and not him.
Sighing, he turned his head to see Phoenixpaw. Pushing himself
to his paws, Emptypromises walked over, sitting beside Pheo and
touching his nose to her cheek. "I'm sorry Phi," Eppy said
quietly.

The female pricked her ears when she heard pawsteps, and just
barely looked up at the tom. Instead of shying away or embracing
him, she just frowned and tipped her head to the side, playing
clueless. "Sorry about what, Eppy?" she asked quietly, purring
slightly as his nose touched her cheek.

Emptypromises replied, "I'm sorry that it seems like I like them
too. I used to, but I don't. I got jealous of Deli because she
never talks to me anymore, and I feel bad for Streamflow and
Storypaw. I don't like them. I only l-" He stopped himself
before he finished.

She blushed slightly as he told her why he was sorry, giving his
side a nudge before licking his cheek. "Eppy, you don't have to
be sorry about that. Sure, it hurt me, but that's because I
didn't know why you were jealous. But now I should be the sorry
one for jumping to conclusions and feeling sorry for myself."
she murmured, allowing a giggle slip out of her maw. She then
pulled away and tipped her head to the side, urging him to
continue.

about us... about our relationship..." she let the tip of her

reacted badly. "Well, I thought about my feelings for you...
And... well, my feelings for you... they grew over the
months..." she bit her lip. "I don't know if my feelings for you
are just me being jealous, or are true. They are most likely the
latter." she gulped and hoped he would take the hint.

Emptypromises nodded, listening to what she had to say. He half
understood, and like I've said so many times before while
breaking the fourth wall, he was not the brightest. But he
thought he understood, and just wanted to hear her confirm his
thoughts.
