Decembersnow couldn't take it anymore. She had to see Coalstar.
Even if it was just a glimpse of him. Even if he was with
another girl. She just had to see him. The white female laid
down on her side of the border, eyes tracing the horizon for the
tom she loved.

Coalstar wandered through the territory on a lone border patrol
to get away from his leader duties for a while. Sure, he loved
it, but everybody needs a break, you know? He stopped and turned
in one direction, something catching his eye. I mean, nose. He
wasn't that close to the border, but the sweet scent of the
FrozenClan medicine cat had reached him where he was. A grin
immediately stretched his maw and he followed the trail in large
bounds. "Deccy!" he purred joyfully, slowing in front of her and
aiming to brush his cheek across hers. "I missed you, beautiful.
Whatcha doing here?"

The white femme stood up to touch her nose to his, purring. "I
just missed you..." she started, looking up at the leader with
big blue eyes. "Is that okay?" she asked calmly, bringing her
calm gaze down to her paws. Maybe she shouldn't have came. Maybe
he was planning something, and she was just in the way of
things. Oh, she wished it wasn't that. The medic would feel
terrible afterwards. "I hope I'm not distracting you from your
duties."

"Distracting? Of course not." Coalstar laughed, his paw aiming
to the gently lift her pretty face up again. "I left camp to get
away from duties, after all," he added, another purr softly
rumbling in his throat. "Distraction or not, you're more
important." The brawny gray tabby gave Decembersnow a happy and
comforting lick on the nose.

The young female purred quietly, attempting to lace her tail
around his. The medic enjoyed hearing his calm, soothing voice.
It was something she couldn't hear since she moved away, and
didn't hear at gatherings because he had to be a strong,
unbreakable wall with almost no emotions. And she respected
that. But Decembersnow just wished that she didn't fall in love
with the enemy Clan's leader, but with an allying Clan's leader.
She wanted the two Clans to at least tolerate one another. But,
with sibling rivalry and who knows what else, that would never
happen.
"How can I be more important than AshClan?" she asked curiously,
reaching forward to give his cheek a little lick. The female,
although grew very much, was still very short and small compared
to the tom. Maybe she was a munchkin of sorts? Who knew? She
definitely didn't. "I, a small female medic from a rival Clan
that could be taken advantage of at any moment," she shivered at
the thought of being r.ped again. [b]"compared to your Clan,
full of cats that rely on you for guidance and hope for a great
future?"
