Owlfeather sat at one edge of the camp, a rabbit at her feet.
She was feeling rather nostalgic today for some odd reason. She
could still remember the times she and her mate had shared
freshkill in the moments stolen away from everyone else. But now
he was dead. And they would never do that again.

The black and white tom flicked his tail back and forth as he
started waking up, stretching out his back. He didn't have much
to do today, since he brought in a massive haul of prey
yesterday and already had his battle training set in stone. So,
what would he do? He could talk to Fallingstar. Deliriadreams.
And if it was possible, Spidereye. But he didn't feel like doing
so.
Maybe he could take a walk to the nursery and visit his past
life's kits? Wouldn't that be a bit weird, though, if he didn't
bring prey? And he was to lazy to get a piece of prey, but then
end up with nobody in the nursery needing it. What the hell
could it do!?
The tom turned his gaze to Owlfeather near the edge of camp. He
never saw her look so... alone, before. Maybe because she was
always with Deliriadreams or Streamflow? No. Can't be. Its a
different type of alone she was feeling, obviously. Oreopaw
walked over slowly, head tipped to the side. "You okay?" he
asked in a caring tone.

The white cat quickly shook the feeling when the apprentice
arrived. Whatever her internal problems were, they didn't need
to bother anyone else. It was her job to deal with that. "Of
course. Is there anything you need?" That was always her first
question whenever someone can to talk to her. It was her job
after all.

The tom closed one of his two orange eyes, raising the invisible
eyebrow above the other. "What I need is the truth. Its obvious
that you're not okay. Someone sitting alone, at the edge of
camp, with just a bit of prey is never okay. Especially when
that someone has many friends and family, other places to sit,
and other cats to share some prey with."

"It's nothing you need to worry about. Besides, I don't really
share meals with people anyways." It was definitely true. She
rarely sat with her friends when eating. She perfurred to stay
to one side and watch, study the different relationships and
whatever else.
