your pain is painful [ OPEN - SURPRISE FOR NIGHT'S FAMILY ]

[center][size=8pt]The young female slunked out of her den, the
tip of her tail lashing. Even though she had a bright pelt and
set of eyes, they seemed to blend in the shadows as she left.
Purple eyes were narrowed as she sensed something... wrong.
She didn't know what it was. She just felt like something was...
different, in the FlowerTribe territory. Well, of course it was
different. Leaffall was approaching and Sakura was still
missing. But it was a different kind of different, if that made
sense. It was more of a eerie different.
Night decided to investigate it in the middle of the night so
she wouldn't disturb anyone. And being thin and graceful, her
steps were basically silent, even against the leaves that had
fell already. Her maroon colored nose was tipped up to the air
to find the scent she had found just a few days ago. The tip of
her tail twitched more furiously as she found the same scent,
fresher and just a few steps away.
It was like... something wanted to get into camp, and it got
enough courage to go to the entrance, but then decided not to.
That or the owner of this scent was baiting her to come. Well,
if its the latter, they were getting their wish. The leader was
loyal to her Clan, and knowing that danger might be around the
corner unsettled her.
The scent became closer as she neared a bush. The scent was
doubled into two and there were hushed whispers to be heard.
Night pulled on her battle snarl, to seem somewhat intimidating,
and growled out loud. [color=plum]"Whoever is here, step outside
right now!" she didn't expect herself to be so straight forward,
but hey. This could be the fate of her Clan.
What she saw was something she didn't expect. Two cats, much
bigger than her, stood in front of her with crooked and twisted
grins. All emotion was drained from Night's face as she felt
like she was going to faint. She didn't want to look into those
black holes they call eyes ever again. It was the main reason
why she ran away in the first place.
She gulped, tail fluffing out. The two cats laughed and stared
down at her. They didn't expect to hear such words from the
female they once knew to be to shy to even talk with other
females her age. Night felt even more dizzy than before, and
felt like letting out shrill scream.
Finally, she opened her jaws and let out a terrified wail. Sure,
it didn't fit the occasion for others that didn't know these
two. But cats like her brothers, hopefully, knew where she was
coming from.
The taller cat smiled. "Is that such a way to greet your mother
and father?"
[ before any of you with night's brothers ask, the parents are
the main reason why night left originally. they were control
freaks that liked to toy with their children's thoughts. that's
why night is so shy when she meets new cats - she thinks that
they're going to do the same and twist whatever she says into
something completely different, like her parents did.
and any friends / other family members of night do not know
about the parents, because her and her brothers would hopefully
never talk about them. the reason i'm stressing this is because
i want it to be a surprise for all the cats that aren't night's
brothers x3 ]

Kuro twitched awake when he heard the scream. He stared out of
his den with slitted red eyes. That was his sister's scream. Why
was she screaming? Getting to his paws, the black cat quickly
made his way into the forest where the sound originated from.
When he turned the corner, he nearly froze. Why were they here?
They weren't supposed to be here! Dung. He kept his pace and
face calm, as though nothing was wrong, until he was standing by
his sister. These were not the cats you wanted to seem weak
around. So he wouldn't. His red eyes seemed to glow dangerously,
like a burning ember.

[center]Pattering heard his beloved sisters scream from afar and
leaped up onto his four paws with a snarl before running towards
where she screamed. A second time her voice was heard, a wail
and it was much louder signalling he was close. Then her scent
flooded hjs nostrils as he heard it. Heard them actually. He
crept forward behind his sister and his eyes widened at the
sight of the two tall cats.[/center]

The female gulped and adverted her eyes, whimpering and looking
up at Kuro and Pattering.
The mother watched her kittens with a smile, her tail lashing.
"Awe, my sweet little boys are coming back to Momma." she cooed.
Her mate rolled his eyes. [b]"If anything, they're being idiots
and protecting their sister."
