He sighed and said softly, "And I wish you could, but nobody can
help me. Unless it's someone who knows exactly what I'm going
through and got through it..." But then he shook his head. "It
won't work. I don't think anyone can help me." Emptypromises
purred softly as she curled their tails together, and brushed
HIS muzzle against HERS.

Phoenixpaw whimpered quietly, accepting his sign of affection
then placing her head on her paws. She wasn't going to give up
there - there had to be something she could do. Whether it be
giving him a certain herb every day or just watching him and
making sure he doesn't go all Hulk on someone. There had to be
something.
Instead of pestering him some more on the subject, she put on a
fake smile. "So, whats it like being assistant deputy?" she
asked, trying to change the subject.

actually, at least right now, since I don't really need to do

assistant deputy in the first place." she shrugged. [b]"But I'm
sure something fun will happen! Like... You'll get to attend
High Position meetings with Deli and I. Um... You get to boss
cats around when Fallingstar nor Deli is around..."

He grinned. "True." The tom rolled onto his back. "Phi, I feel
bad for Lionpaw though. She hates you because of me, and I feel
like you two are fighting because of me," Eppy suddenly said,
changing the subject yet again.
