Guilt smiled softly, the tip of his tail twitching. He went
around, sorting the herbs calmly. He wasn't as excitable or
angry when he was alone. he was just calm and serene - almost
like his sister, Innocence. Well, spiritual sister. The female
and her fiance/husband just had to go against the wishes of
StarClan and come back.

Flipkit peered into Guilt's den. He looked so...Nice, for once.
Who knows why! She took a shy step into the den, aqua eyes
lowered. "H-Hi Uncle Guilt..."

The tom pricked his ears and huffed quietly, turning his head
slightly to ace his niece. "Yes, Flipkit? Is there something
wrong?" the tom favored his nieces and nephews more than other
kits, since the other kits were more afraid of him. The only
down side to his relatives was that he actually had to be
careful of their feelings.

She shuffled her paws. "I-I was wondering if you could show me a
few herbs?" She felt too uncomfortable blurting out 'Can I be
your apprentice?', so she just stuck with that.

Oh. That was it. There was no, 'I just wanted to say I love you
Uncle Guilt.' 'You're so funny, Guilt!' Not even a little
question about him. Just straight up 'Can I learn some herbs?'
crap. That showed that his own family didn't care much for him,
but for the position he was being forced to give out. "Sure," he
murmured, trying hard not to edge it with a growl or a hiss. The
cinnamon tom had to learn how to be nicer to kits, since he and
Jury decided on having their own soon.

A grin formed on her maw. "Thank you, Uncle Guilt!" She purred,
reaching up to give him a hug. She was pretty much the only
child of Flickerence who cared for Guilt.

He hissed quietly and tried to push her off, frowning now. "Yeah
yeah, kid. Everyone loves Uncle Guilt when hes forced to
willingly give out little training sessions and listen to kits
ramble on about the herbs that they normally wouldn't know if it
wasn't for DragonClan." he muttered, returning to his old,
irritated self. The tom pulled out a few simple herbs, poppy
seeds, dock, and marigold.

Hurt filled her eyes. Maybe she shouldn't have asked...Did he
have to be so irritable? She lowered her optics again before
looking at the herbs.
