never let them get to you && BONFIRE?!

Gunshot had been planning this for a while, and it was now ready
to happen. The scrawny male stood in the camp, surrounded by
hundreds of fluffy marshmallows he had found stored away in some
old corner. There were also chunks of meat that he had hunted
and ripped apart, ripe for roasting.
"FLOWERTRIBE! IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART IN A BONFIRE, COME HERE!"
Announcement made, he tilted a large piece of glass over a
carefully structured pile of wood until a flame appeared. The
fire grew, brilliant against the darkness of the night. He had
another pile of sticks, this one not for the fire but rather to
roast the marshmallows and prey on. It was gonna be awesome!
[lame post. inspired by the Skulls' bonfire.]

"Hey, Night," the red tabby greeted his former mentor. "Try a
marshmallow." He nudged one of the long, thin sticks toward her,
gesturing with his head toward the many ivory cylinders lying
around.

A caramel tabby form padded over, his long tail waving in the
air. Saturnpaw didn't hesitate to sit by his mate, and smelled
the smoky air. He rather liked the smell of smoke. Don't ask,
ask just accept it! "Nice fire going on here."

Gunshot shrugged. Whatever she wanted. He purred a hello at Dawn
and nuzzled Saturnpaw, wondering whether or not to suggest
singing stupid songs. Or telling stories! There was so much to
do at a fire, and some....things to do away from one, but while
it was going on.

He slyly wrapped an arm around the red tabby, a grin on his maw.
With his free paw, he popped a sugary cylinder into his mouth.
Quietly, he started to sing.
"After raising six sweet daughters, I was glad to have a son.
I thought of all the games we'd play, the picnics, hikes and
fun.
I thought of how we'd sit and talk for hours when day is done.
Oh, wasn't I the foolish one."

Princess pranced over, feeling slightly more comfortable in the
environment. Especially now that the smell of marshmallows and
smoke flew through the air, reminding her of the cozy nights
with her mother while the housefolk held a small family
campfire.
