brick by boring brick or the wolves goin' to blow it down { INNO
CENCE'S RETURN }

so one day he found her crying
Unlike Flickeringstar, it was hard to find a tiger
to possess that didn't have a family of its own. She drifted
around in her own starry form, finding many tigers. Strawberry
ones, like Flicky, bengal ones, and Siberian ones. She couldn't
help but to like the orange cubs better than the white ones.
Mostly because she knew for a fact that white ones weren't
supposed to happen, and are genetically mutated.
She observed a group of tigers. Two parents and five cubs. She
noticed that the smallest cub seemed to be alone and the
weakest. Innocence liked that one the most. But how to get her
away from her family? It looked easy, since the parents didn't
acknowledge her. The ghost flicked her tail, causing her scent
to drift through the air, ruffling the cub's fur.
She smiled as the cub did a rumbling purr, following the scent
out into the middle of nowhere. It was then that Innocence felt
Guilt - she was going to replace the life of a living being,
just to be with her love. How selfish could she get? She sighed
and stopped the winds, floating down and settling herself in
front of the cub. The cub, obviously, saw her. It was easy to
see because of the look in its eyes.
"Shh, its okay." Innie soothed, holding in her tears. She felt
horrible doing this. She didn't want to do this. She couldn't.
"I'm going to help you." she cooed. The cub nodded slowly as
Innie continued. "Back at my home, there's a little girl. My
daughter. Shes terribly sick and could die. I want to bring you
there, so you can possess her. You can become her, and be loved.
All if you let me use your body."
She hated how it sounded, but it was true. Angelic was getting
terribly sick while no one noticed. Innie watched the cub nod
slowly, bravery shining in its eyes. "Just follow me," Innocence
cooed, an excited smile prancing on her lips. She dashed ahead,
leaving her scent behind for the cub. And the cub didn't take
long to catch up, determination in its eyes.
She stopped just outside of camp and landed, standing in front
of the cub. "Good. My little girl in over there," she murmured,
pointing to the small kit just barely standing outside of her
den, coughing quietly. A scowl was put on her face as Innie
sighed. "Why is it that at least one of my daughters is always
this fowl?" she asked herself. "Anyways, all you have to do is
focus and posses her."
The cub nodded slowly and did as told, soon drifting from her
body and resting in Angelic's. She knew it was successful
because Angelic's frown turned to a smile, even though she
collapsed from exhaustion. The ghost looked back to the tiger
cub body, sighing. It was for a good cause - Angelic's life was
going to be taken by StarClan anyways. So it didn't effect many.
She slipped her soul into the tiger body, but it was harder than
you would think. Especially when you spent a whole night luring
a tiger cub and bringing them miles away. The newly made tiger
cub curled into a ball just outside of camp, eyes closed as she
waited to catch her breath.

Flickeringstar had been taking care of his dead girlfriend's
kits for the past few days. All of them were responding well to
the bottled-milk....Except Angelic. She usually only took a few
drops! It worried him!
When a smile rested on the little girl's lips, he blinked in
surprise. But soon, a faint smile of his own formed on his maw.
Whispering soothing words to the kits, he stepped out of the
den.
That's when the cub saw a fellow tiger cub curled up near the
pool. Narrowing his golden optics, he bounded over. The cub
looked weak and small, while he was big and powerful. Was the
cub ill?
Nudging the form, he let out a soothing rumble. "Hello. My name
is Flickeringstar. What brings you here?"

Innocence pricked her round ears at the sound of Flicky's voice,
opening her eyes and looking up at him. Instead of the usual
amber eyes of a tiger, she had her usual bright blue eyes. An
aching smile was put on her face as she picked up her head. "I
never thought I'd be looking up at you again. Feels like all
those moons ago." she rumbled with a smile. "And you bring me
here, Flicky."

His eyes widened at those words. Memories of the slave Innocence
and him guiding her around the rocks of the Serpent's Scales
rushed back to him.
"I'm fine! I'm just... scared." she gulped. "Is there any way
around these rocks? Or should I take my chances and run across?"
Innie mewed, having to shout because of the roaring water.
He pressed against her, and started to go away from the
waterfall. The rocks became less steep, and he curved around the
sharp rocks to the river. He proceeded to guide her on the
stepping stones to the other side. Then they were at his hiding
spot.
Innocence enjoyed his warmth as he showed her around the stones.
"I like that way much better." she purred, reaching up to lick
his cheek. "You know, Flickeringstar," the femme didn't use her
nickname for him. "you're much nicer then you lead on to be when
Serenity is around." the cinnamon tabby sat down and looked up
at him...
"I-Innocence...?"

The young tiger cub stood to her large paws, wincing slightly.
They were cut up and bruised from the body's previous owner. But
she'd have to deal with the pain. "The one and only, Flicky."
she cooed, attempting to touch her nose to his with a happy
sigh. [b]"Did you really think I would leave that easily?"

He let out a rumbling purr, then looked worriedly at all the
injuries. "Are you okay? I can take you to Jury or Guilt..." He
said fretfully.

Sighing with relief, he pulled her into a loving hug. He had
missed her scent, her velvety fur, and her beautiful eyes ever
since she lost her memory! Sure, classic tigers had rough fur
while he had soft fur, being a strawberry tiger, but it was
still velvety to him.

She put her nose in his neck fur, accepting the hug while

He snuggled into her fur. "Hey, Innie?"
