Emptypromises stood up and questioned, "Where do you want to go
first? Towards the rapids or wards the calmer waters?" The brown
tabby flicked the tip of his tail, waiting for her decision.

"How about the calm waters?" she asked, taking his side and just
barely letting her fur brush his. "Because if we hunt first, the
fish and such might go bad by the time we start heading home -
assuming that we might spend a long time out of camp." she
flicked her ear and shrugged.

He nodded in agreement. "Okay, then let's go," purred the tom,
walking beside her and twining his tail with hers. Emptypromises
followed a trail to one of the deep but calm parts of the river
where it was partly sunny, but partly shady. That way there was
both warm and cold water.

The ginger female toned down her smile to something shy, since
she wasn't ever this close to a tom she liked (if you considered
twining tails close), unless it was playing around or battle
training. Which, strangely enough, was only done with Eppy. That
deserves a asdfghjkl;. Anywho, Phoenixpaw kept pace with the
brown tabby, enjoying the scenery on the way there. It sure was
something. It was sad that it'd all die soon, because of fall
and winter.
"This seems like a nice spot." she commented approvingly, the
tip of her tail twitching.

Emptypromises smiled, thinking as they walked. When they had
finally arrived, he listened to what she said and nodded in
agreement. Silently reaching forward, he flicked some water at
her, grinning. He then separated their tails, jumping into the
water and creating a small splash.

The medic apprentice squeaked, rubbing her nose with her paw,
where she got splashed. "Eppy!" she giggled, watching him jump
into the water. She fluffed out her fur and waded in, holding
her breath and diving under for a moment before coming back up,
soaked.

He dove under, holding his breath, then popped up, also soak.
Emptypromises laughed.
