roar of gushing water echoed in his ears, and he headed over

He nodded, clinging on even tighter. Fire loved water, but he
was scared of going to a waterfall. The tom got that from
Innocence, or Juliet, or whatever she wanted to call herself.

Arriving, he climbed to the top of the waterfall. At the bottom
was a deep pond, deep for even a tiger. He crouched down so he
could climb off.

And then, Flicky jumped off the edge and landed in the center of
the pond. A few seconds after the splash, his head popped out of
the dark water. "C'mon down!"

He hesitated. Jumping would hurt. Firework frowned, then made
his way to the bottom, smiling and then went in, swimming over
to his father.

He pretended to be a crocodile, only his eyes peering out of the
water and slowly stalking his son.

Firework giggled, swimming away as quick as he could. He then
turned around, aiming to tap his dad on the nose.
