oh
maybe the ranks are named after animals?
like the leader is lion or something { king of the jungle }
and the healers are baboons { because of rafiki from the lion
king xD }
and and
they should live in an abandoned zoo

They should be cats in a zoo. Basic wild cats. But at night,
they sneak into a small whole in their cage. In the cage, there
is a whole clan. Its a large cave with smaller caves as dens.
They have streams for water, and fish for food. The ranks could
be.. The King, which would be the leader, it could be king or
queen. The deputy could be called The Cub, it could be the cub
of the king/queen. The medicine cat could be called Feline, and
thd feline apprentice would be called The Nurse. Ill think of
more ranks :)

Jstar, the thing is that ZooClan is supposed to be mostly
animals other than cats., with only a few cats.

I like how the ranks would be named after animals. However I
would change the language of the ranks beclaws that would be
confusing if there was a lion who wasn't the Lion.

so far:: they live in a zoo, each type of animal lives in a
different exhibit, but the doors are always opened. the ranks
are named after animals but are in different languages.

You could do the ranks in Latin. It's the language used for
their scientific name so it would make sense.
