ForgottenClan Medicine Den

The torbie worked calmly by herself while humming a
simple tune, waiting for a patient as well as taking her time to
do her job. Even though Flower was the only doctor so far, not
to mention an apprentice, but she still felt quite
peaceful.

Priscilla padded in and plopped herself down. Not caring
if anybody else was hurt, she turned to Flower and just started
talking and talking, about herself and her problems. "Blah blah,
Rabbit. Blah blah Fabric. Blah blah blah. So yea you understand
right? Anyways, hi."

Though she put most of her attention towards her work, Flower
calmly and politely listened to the princess's rants as if the
words were helping her somehow. Of course they weren't, accept
for the fact that someone was finding her trustworthy to speak
about their problems. She liked Priscilla, even if she acted
like a spoiled and bossy brat. "Hello, Princess," she purred,
finishing a pile and swiping her tongue over her paw.

A snowshoe cat walked in, hurt clearly displayed on her face,
though she didn't say anything. Parakeet had a large thorn
lodged deep in her back paw, and it was killing her!

Flower turned towards the newcomer and let her eyes widen
slightly before rushing over. "Poor thing! Wait just a moment."
she meowed, carefully running to her herb store, grabbing a bit
of comfrey root poultice and cobwebs, then speeding back over to
apply it after taking out the thorn. "Hand me your paw please,"
she reached out her own front paw for hers to rest on.

She turned around and put her back foot forward awkwardly.

Flower made it quick and easy, holding her paw tight as she
swiftly pulled out the pain-causing point with her teeth and
then spit it out on the ground not used for walking space. Her
other paw was prepared to treat the wound with the mix and she
gently pressed on the sticky cobwebs. "There you go! Please try
not to walk on it for a while so it can heal," the doctor
apprentice informed, letting go of her back paw. "It was bigger
than most, so I suggest you rest it for the day or so." She
wasn't exactly sure, since she was still learning, but she did
her best.

"I'll try," she mewed, starting to limp out of the den.

She watched that Parakeet girl limp away and narrowed
her eyes. She would have to talk about her with her
mother.

Flower still felt bad that she couldn't do more for Parakeet,
but she was only a doctor apprentice after all. Her green orbs
then traveled over to Priscilla's expression. "Is there
something wrong?"
