"Well that would explain a few things. I've never seen you!" She
let out a chuckle. "I'll have to disagree with you though. I
consider this my forest. Not yours." She didn't even blink at
the wolf. She didn't care. If it tried to bite her, it would
find out pretty quick that she bites back.

off but not towards where he kept Forrest.

again. "Off to that secret place of yours?" She called after
him.

Kathy sighed and brushed some of her thick bangs out of her
face. Getting a good grip on a branch on the tree next to her,
she expertly vaulted into the trees and disappeared into the
thick leaves.

He looked around. Good, she was gone. Evan quickly turned and
ran, showing up at the cabin. Opening the door, he let Forrest
in.
