Her eyes widened and tried covering her body but knew it was too
late. "Would you believe me if I told you I got scratched by the
rocks when I jumped in? Or that I was scratched by a cat?"

She sighed and looked away, her huge green eyes betraying the
truth. "I have an abusive uncle. My parents are on vacation and
thinks he is so kind and nice. But he's a molester." She
whispered looking away with tears welling in her eyes.

His eyes softened and he opened his arms to give her a hug. Evan
felt bad for her and he wanted to comfort her.
