Phoebe was sitting in the nurse's office of the school,
volunteering. She was fascinated by the way things worked in the
medicine department, with all honesty. She waited for someone to
walk in with a bump or scratch.

And then in came Evan. He had accidentally slammed a door on his
finger, and it was swollen, most likely broken. Evan walked in.

The female blinked a few times when Evan walked in, standing up
from the chair she sat in. She was much short than him, and most

"Hmm." she led him over to the chair she was sitting in. "You
can go ahead and sit, I'll look for the bandage wraps..."
Phoenix murmured, turning around to the desk beside them and
looking through the drawers. [b]"I'm Phoenix, by the way."

He sat down, listening to her as he spoke. Hearing her name, he
mumbled it under his breath, testing it out. It was a nice name.
"I'm Evan," he replied.

She finally found the flimsy band-aid, along with the clips for
it. She walked over to him and knelt down, attempting to wrap
the band-aid around his finger and clip the end of it together.
"I like your name, Evan." she murmured, standing up and patting
down her jeans. "Anyways, that's a temporary band-aid. It won't
come off, but it will keep your finger in place until we can get
a real finger cast in." she ran her fingers through her ginger
hair with a simple smile.
