He grinned. "Okay. Race you there!" Evan called as he began to
run towards the lake.

She was caught off guard but ran after him towards the lake. He

He stopped almost at the edge of the lake. Evan waited for her
to catch up, and then tried to push her in, grinning.

She screamed as she was pushed in and clambered out of the
water, laughing and spitting water. "Evan, you meanie!"

He laughed, teasing, "You win." Then Evan jumped into the lake.
He kept his eyes opened, looking around.

He didn't come up for a bit, trying to grab a pearl he had
hidden in a ledge underwater. After pulling it out, he came to
the surface and swam over to her. Grinning, he handed it to her.
"Where do you think I'd found this?"
