blindness-even if only in one eye-scared him. "Cu..can you make
it better?" he was hyperventilating now.

tom's eye, then chewed up some of the celadine before placing it
in a set of cobwebs. "I can make you feel better," She started,
attempting to wrap the gauze and medicine around Gunshot's left
eye. "But there are even some things that medicine cats cannot
heal."

A bright, misty blue eyed young apprentice limped into the den,
grinning from ear to ear. Her left paw was twisted backwards,
but it didn't seem like it hurt her very much. She plopped her
rump on the ground of the den, awaiting her turn, still
grinning. She then turned to Skywing. "Hola! I'm [Hornet] that
gives stings! Call me Hornet. Please." She dangled her damaged
paw. "Look what happened when I jumped! I fell, and landed like
this." She was still smiling. Her golden fur, with stripes to
make her look like a hornet, or a bee, was ruffled, seeing she
was too lazy to clean it. She'd do that later. Hornet gave a
small bounce from where she was sitting and fell silent once
more.

whispered, delicately placing her tail on Gunshot's back and
leading him to the newly made nest. "You'll have to stay here
for a while, hun. Now, Hornet, lemme see that paw." The spotted
black she-cat with a silver base coating skipped her way over,
inspecting the paw.
