       Gunshot chewed at a mouse, relishing the sustenance. When he had
       come back to the Tribe, the tabby had been a skinny little thing
       with showing ribs. Now he was beginning to fill out, occupying
       the space he once had. Yellow eye thoughtful, face dropped
       contently, the messenger munched the rodent.
