First, let the officials do their job without unnecessary
interference
And
Accept that Women are eminently capable of Refereeing.
It looked to myself and some non referees in the pub that some
players were less fit than M&s Frappart

But the intention is that they do spot them, even if user error
means sometimes they don’t. If a different VAR official had
changed the decision, would you have approved of the system?

You have to remember that UEFA were hacked off because the Super
Cup was being contested by two PL teams and that VAR was not
important in the grand scale of things because the PL are
applying their own version anyway so UEFA played them at their
own game.

When it comes to penalising goalkeeper encroachment at penalties
at least, would it not be fairer to say that it is FIFA who have
their own version?n

I’m sorry I don’t understand your question.
I don’t agree with VAR. I believe it’s driven by the new owners
of football, the TV, and is an affront to people like me who pay
good money to go to games. TV wants the atmosphere but treats
fans like dirt.
Football is too dynamic for this interference. It’s an
abomination.

I’m sorry I don’t understand your question.

Very true and this is why, after travelling to support my team
for 68 seasons, I shall cease going to PL matches and go and
watch football, at any level, which still respects the onfield
officials and their decisions ---whether they be correct or
otherwise.
Mind you, we may end up getting relegated and I can continue my
quest unless the Championship introduces VAR, which I think is
more than likely. C'est la vie!
