Rosetti was the very important observer watching Frappart.
Haven't seen any highlights so can't comment.

Only saw a bit at the end of the game but she seemed OK and in
control. Noticed that the VAR did not seem to be bothering
about goalkeepers moving off their line for the kicks from the
penalty spot - particularloy the last one.

You have to remember that UEFA were hacked off because the Super
Cup was being contested by two PL teams and that VAR was not
important in the grand scale of things because the PL are
applying their own version anyway so UEFA played them at their
own game.

I’ve now seen that penalty decision on YouTube and it just isn’t
a foul. The Assistant, better positioned, clearly flags for a
goal kick but the Referee is too quick on the whistle and has
guessed. She must have because if that’s a foul the Laws must
have changed without anyone telling me. Her position was far
less credible than the Assistant who knows it’s a goal kick. The
Chelsea players don’t even claim or react at all-it’s a surprise
to everyone.
It further proves what a load of old nonsense VAR is. They slap
themselves on the back for Raheem Sterling’s armpit being
offside yet can’t spot a clear and obvious key match decision in
a Cup Final.
Jurgen Klopp has been gracious in victory but had the result not
gone our way I doubt he would have been so complimentary.

I thought they were very good overall. The only question mark
on the penalty was whether Adrian actually made any contact with
the striker, and given Adrian has come out and said that he did
contact him surely clears that one up.

I haven’t seen Adrian’s comment but contact does not always
equate to a foul and the footage from behind the goal shows the
Chelsea player’s forward movement instigating the minimal
contact that occurred. The Assistant was perfectly positioned
and immediately signalled a goal kick.

However, VAR said a penalty, therefore, the opinions of the
onfield officials matter not one jot!! This is the way that
modern football is going because it is what the fans want ---or
is it the media?
My opinion remains as my addendum to my posts.

Allegedly VAR didn’t have an angle to see it. One of the
officials got it right but the Referee chose not to consult her
but why didn’t VAR see that and tell the Referee that the
Assistant, better positioned, had flagged?
I’m just one of the mugs (paying supporter) thrown out with the
bath water while the TV calls the shots and this unfit for
purpose VAR vanity project continues. It’s farcical. I agree
with comments you’ve made previously.

The interesting thing is, BT Sport had different TV Angles to
VAR. Like in cricket, VAR needs all available TV Angles. They
can't have 50% of the angles available etc.
