Think she has fully justified her appointment and has herself
and the team have been spot on hope she continues this
performance for the second half

Sorry, disagree. Don’t doubt she deserved the chance. But she is
IMHO not up to the task, especially her assistants. They don’t
seem to know when to or not flag, very messy. She has missed
numerous fouls and is sadly only surviving by the attitude of
the players. Good but nowhere near the required standard for
this level of football.

Just hope Lee Mason was watching and maybe picked up a tip or 2.
Thought the ref did very well and credit to the players too for
their general behaviour and acceptance of her appointment.

Referee, for me, was excellent.
The angle BT Sport took 15 minutes to find to allow them to
criticise the penalty was pathetic.
I have seen significantly worse in the Premier League and far
too often to be happy about that

I thought she did very well. The only real controversy seemed
to be the award of the Chelsea penalty which I was very
surprised was upheld by VAR. I am still not sure what angle VAR
based the decision on but the first view on TV appeared
inconclusive either way and certainly no visual evidence whether
it was a foul or not. The later view shown on BT seemed to show
that there had been no contact to justify the award of a
penalty. It could be that there might have been the faintest of
touches but it wasn't clear and if penalties are to be given and
upheld for that, there could be dozens in every match.
But that apart, this was a good performance and her fitness I
thought was excellent, especially given the heat and extra time
which saw several of the players wilting.

Her assistants got 3 massive offside calls correct which was
backed up by VAR. The delayed flagging technique is as per the
UEFA guidelines. You may disagree with that procedure but to
suggest Ms Frappart and her assistants are not up to the task,
despite no controversy, respect from the footballing world and
the players, doesn't make any sense. The non foul decisions were
respected because she was allowing the game to flow and that
decision made the game so much more enjoyable. I understand we
can criticise but your comments have no ground and make very
little sense.
I thought she was excellent, there were a few incorrect throw in
calls but apart from that, I don't remember any decisions where
I thought she was wrong or out of her depth. The penalty
decision was a tough call, from her view, it's penalty. The view
BT used, it doesn't look to be correct but it was an impossible
angle. I'd have been interested to see the angle used by VAR.

I was at the game and had a perfect angle to see that the
penalty she gave wasn’t a foul. I don’t even think she could see
it clearly and has been fooled by the Chelsea forward. Further
evidence if any were needed that VAR is a complete waste of
time. It’s a clear and obvious error and a KMI to boot. Apart
from that she was OK though I felt foul detection wasn’t
perfect. The Assistants were far too hesitant though, not
impressed by them.

In reply to Referee 152. I thought he fitness and movement was
excellent. I thought he overall foul detection was not so good.
For me she had guessed at the penalty and got it wrong. Missed a
number of fouls. Late on gave a goal kick when it was obviously
a corner. She got by because it was a big final where both teams
behaved despite some poor decisions. If she was in a typical PL
or Championship game I honestly believe sh would struggle. She
did get the cautions right but at the end of the day KMD wrong

There are two KMI's on the match. The handball at min. 05' and
the penalty for CHE at 99'. IMO, she got both wrong. I was
surprised not to see Turpin intervene on both decisions.
Apart from that, she was slightly below expected level. Her foul
detection was weak and she had a few positioning problems (bad
angle on min. 05' scene). She was very lucky that the players
accepted her.
