       M OLIVER - Liverpool v Norwich

Looks like a few technical issues at the start of the second
half for Oliver, notably Bennett whose comm pack looks as if
       it's packed up.
Hardly anything for Oliver to do in the first half incidentally.

Interestingly they do have a contingency where the 'match
manager' (match delegate?) would relay messages should VAR fail

I thought the assistants were meant to give the benefit of doubt
to the attackers and if necessary VAR will disallow the goal.
3 times Bennett has flagged and the attackers probably weren't
off. Just happens to be Norwich attackers!

Premier League are doing it differently. Assistants are told to
flag as normal, but the referee should delay the whistle until
       the attack breaks down.

I’m pretty sure if I allow a goalkeeper to wear all black in
today’s Supply League game I’m losing marks.
I thought he was quite lenient on a couple of pulls that could
easily have been cautions but in the context of a clean game it
       showed sensible game management.

........ so they are not in position to judge any subsequent
       offsides ?

Agreed. I was surprised he got this and it means he won’t be
doing Liverpool for a while now. I’d rather see him taking
control of more challenging games. He’s easily the best we have.

It would appear that Sian Massey-Ellis hasn't been given them
instructions. She's just let Harry Kane run 30 yards with the
ball before deciding to put her flag up.
