Women's World Cup. China v Italy

Is there are dedicated thread for discussion of the tournament?
I can't seem to find it. Anyway just wanted to say that I caught
most of the China v Italy match yesterday. What a refreshing
change to some of the previous antics. Both teams wanting to get
on with playing football and it appeared to be extremely well
refereed. Could someone tell me who the referee was? I sort of
gained the impression she might be from a country in South
America. That would certainly fit geographically

There hasn't been because no-one has bothered to do one! Lazy

There hasn't been because no-one has bothered to do one! Lazy

There hasn't been that much discussion about individual matches,
appointments, etc. so probably wasn't needed - most of the
references have been to the various VAR-ring!

Thank you Toprefm. I was impressed with Ms Alves Batista; she
certainly comes from a top footballing pedigree nation.

I commented elsewhere that the South American officials have
impressed me, along with the Central Americans (one of the Oz
ladies was pretty gd too)
I expect to see at least 1 more in QFs, 1 in the SF and likely
Final too
