Good appointments for both Pawson and Madden. And with important
       observers.
The biggest match of the round (based on 1st leg result) goes to
       Bebek.

Some of the heavier artillery is out for the second legs, I
guess the cream will make an appearance for the final
       qualification round.

No complaints with this team of officials tonight. Ref dealt
well with tempers threatening to spill over at one point - Civic
of Fradi correctly yellow carded. Bit of revenge dished his way
a few mins later with another correct yellow card for the away
team. It settled it down after that. He has a great cross look
I noted! No complaints, with any of the cards. 2nd yellow for
Civic was correct, Zagreb were the better side on the pitch,
officials capable, fair & consistent and that is all we can ask
for. Heister also booked for Fradi. 3 Zagreb players also
booked. Pen given against Fradi looked soft in real time but
replays showed one of the Fradi defenders took the Zagrebs back
leg out so was a good call, it was missed as it happens but as
Zagreb were 4-0 up by then it didn't matter!

They were given for a push, a handball and holding in the
penalty area. According to a more expert member on another
forum, they were all correct and brave decisions; I fully agree.

Having just seen the Youtube highlights all looked correct. No
major protests from the PAOK players. Craig looked calm, assured
and nice to see him a lot closer to play which I always thought
       was his downfall a bit.
Looks a good performance from the highlights

There is too much talk on Greek media about Pawson's
performance. PAOK fans are furious about his performance and the
3 penalties. They even made a Twitter hashtag #UEFAMAFIA.

I have seen some of the reaction, and it is somewhat scary. He
might have missed cautions for Ajax players, but this is equally
true for PAOK players. And in my opinion all three penalties
       were correct.

And look at this. This is an official statement from an English
firm, Osmo UK, whose employee, also called Craig Pawson, have
been continuously targeted in the social media since yesterday.
       Beautiful, isn't it?
       "Official Statement from Osmo UK
We would like to take this opportunity to inform those who have
spent the last 14 hours attacking Craig Pawson, his wife,
friends and family on social media that the person you are
tagging in your posts is not the Football Referee who officiated
the match between Ajax vs PAOK last night, but is instead a
       staff member at Osmo UK.
We would like to urge everyone who has been involved in these
abusive, destructive and malicious posts to understand that our
colleague, Craig Pawson has no ties of any kind to football, and
ask these PAOK FC fans to stop tagging him in any further
       aggressive social media posts."
