Pathetic "sentence" handed out. Good on Arsenal for suspending
him though.

So sad to read things like this and particularly the 'sentence'
handed out which does nothing to discourage others from doing
the same thing.

'Pathetic' is the proper word to describe the Coach, puerile and
horrible would be two others, after a display of such disgusting
and petulant behaviour towards a young referee. Take note those
who behave badly in the dugouts at professional matches, you set
a vile culture which will be replicated and then directed at
those whom the game should be protecting.

Surely the spineless FA should take some responsibility here.
Some ignorant cretin shouting abuse at a young female referee is
absolutely disgraceful. Shame on all concerned.

They have. The original hearing pretty much let him off, The FA
appealed it and he was found guilty. Yes the ban is short, but
that's the disciplinary rules at fault, and the fine of £400
appears low this is for a lowly coach so probably a week's wage.

I stand corrected then as I assumed that this was a matter which
should have been dealt with in the first place by the FA/County
FA.
Who exactly deals with discipline matters in cases like this
where there is an official referee?

As an arsenal fan, I'm ashamed at this, I'm glad we've suspended
him.
However the sentence handed out is going to give other young
referee's dealing with similar things no confidence that they
are going to be protected by the people who are supposed to look
after them. Iv'e seen similar cases be completely ignored by
local fa's.

Not wishing to exonerate the actions of the coach in any way,
why was a 14 year old exposed to a situation that could have
left him with psychological issues? And indeed did. In this sad
world we live in where people cannot control their language or
actions it can only be expected that occasionally a referee will
get abuse. Is a 14 year old prepared for this? This case
suggests not. In a sense, this is child abuse by allowing him to
be in a situation where he can be vulnerable.

She, not he, was refereeing an under 9s game at a professional
club's academy venue. It shouldn't come any safer than that ..!
