Pretty good stuff so far, Bragg had to go for two yellows.. easy
decision all round.

My first time watching Herczeg and pretty impressed so far -
both yellows for Bragg were clear.

Things getting spicy… a mini brawl and Azaz would have been off
had his studs made contact with Meghoma.

Thought he needed to take time on the high foot YC, unless AR1
or 4th was very quick to advise, as ref himself did not have
best angle. YC for the chest bump runner also spot on
Certainly had got the big moments right, so far

Not an easy match to referee. Big local rivalry and players on
both teams not holding back. My first viewing of Adam Herczeg on
a live match and I was impressed. Lesser referees would have
lost control, Herczeg was in no danger of doing so despite some
hot headedness from some of the players.

Just got back from the match. Have no complaints whatsoever with
Bragg's red card. Both yellows were as clear as you get. Thought
Azaz was going to go as well from my viewpoint. Definitely saw a
studs up challenge.
Thought Herczeg was good but I thought he was a tad lenient with
the yellow cards for Portsmouth. But thought he handled a feisty
derby match well.

I've watched it back and I think Azaz was very, very lucky to
stay on the pitch. It's high, it's studs up. I think it's
excessive force even if the contact was minimal. You see can his
frustration after not getting a free kick seconds before and he
flies in with a nasty challenge. I also think Adam Herczeg
didn't do himself any favours by showing the yellow card so
quickly. I know he was trying to diffuse the situation but
without VAR, he would have been better off focusing on the
confrontation and giving himself more thinking time.

But doesn’t that mean you think a referee should go by player
reaction rather than trusting his own judgment?

Not at all, nothing wrong with giving youself some thinking
time. I have no idea if the AR gave him any advice over the mic
before he did caution Azaz but if not, could have asked for his
opinion too.
