How bad has this performance been ???
The level of inconsistency in his decisions has been unreal

I thought he missed a yellow card for a Dutch defender early on
for SPA. Other than that, I thought he was generally fine -
maybe a few soft free-kicks but nothing majorly wrong.
Good to see him with a smile on his face during the VAR review -
think they got the decision correct.

What was the process behind Chilwell not having to leave the
pitch after being treated? I know the Dutch player got a yellow
card but I thought treatment had to be completed quickly for the
player to not have to go off - certainly I've seen many
instances where a player has been asked to go off the pitch when
the offender has been cautioned and often when the treatment has
been completed more quickly than was the case here.

It might be as it's because of the concussion test?

Why wasn't De Ligt sent off on the England penalty for DOGSO as
he didn't make an attempt to play the ball (given where the ball
       was when he fouled Rashford)?

I think that yellow was the right decision - I think this was
the type of incident where the punishment was designed to be
changed with the new interpretation. Both players are going for
the ball and Rashford gets there first.

I thought he was fine. His overall performance was certainly a
damn sight better than the English defending ..!
