I don’t see anything remotely conclusive there to suggest a
clear handball offence and his arms are literally tucked in
right beside him so I don’t really understand what you want him
to do in that situation.

Might not have been a bad idea to give Sunderland centre forward
a little bit more protection during the game rather than offer
him nothing at all and allow him to receive a battering...
The price of scoring three goals I suppose.

Understand VAR did check for a penalty when Elliot Anderson
appeared to handball shortly before City's fourth goal, but that
it was cleared as the action was deemed to be accidental.

If this is true then the var needs some extra training, you can
maybe argue the build up but Anderson brought the nba to
Manchester early

Based on this report it wasn’t not given because of any other
hand ball offence but because it was deemed accidental and that
is a concerning trend for Michael Salisbury

Seemed quite capable of looking after himself to me! Watch out
for the red top teams coming after him soon.
