       John Moss has been appointed Fourth Official for an Australian
       Cup Semi-Final following the strikes and absence of Australian
       Referees!
       His first appointment in four years! Now, we need to keep Jarred
       Gillett safe and sound in England… did Howard put a no-return
       policy when he came over to the Premier League? 😁

       Our professional referees- Members of the Professional Football
       Referees Association, are withdrawing their labour from
       Australian Cup matches, A-League warm up matches and the
       Australian Championships. Referees are caught between two
       bodies, their employer is Football Australia, but the A League
       is run by the Aust Professional Clubs. There aer claims of
       unpaid wages/fees and issues with contracts.
       Hence why the first semi final had Singaporean refs and this one
       had Aussies albeit not union members. This game was between 2
       non A League clubs- National Premier League. the referee was a
       NPL referee from NSW.
