I know things have been shaken up this season, but am I right in
thinking this is a mixed lineup of:
Referee: National Group Referee
Assistant 1: Pro Group Assistant (Championship)
Assistant 2: National Group Assistant
Fourth Official: Pro Group Referee
A bit of a interesting cocktail that! Odd to have the higher
level ref on the boards and NG in the middle. Especially on a TV
game?

I actually like this one…a young ref with lots of potential with
reliable assistants and a very experienced 4th to support him
pre-match as well as on-field.I am sure his colleagues will give
him their full support and I for one hope it goes extremely well
for Tom and his team.

I think it’s quite normal for a Pro Group (Former SG2) referee
to hold the boards when someone from the National List/Group is
appointed to a game in the championship. To support Tom Parsons
with experienced ARs (Think McGrath was a Champ AR last year)
and 4O is good.
