West Brom v Watford - Michael Salisbury

A poor performance from Michael Salisbury in this game.
Very inconsistent with yellow cards given and inconsistent with
awarding of FK's for both sides.
As a result, players became frustrated.
Player scuffles in the final minutes could have been avoided
with the awarding of a 'preventative FK'
Overall, not one of the better performances.

New term for me. What's a "preventative FK" and how does it
       differ from a free-kick ?

Absolutely agree 100%. I was in the away end yesterday so I
didn't bother to post my thoughts as there are plenty on this
forum who see who you support, that your team lost, and will
just put their fingers in their ears to any criticism and trott
out the "its because your team lost..." but since you have gone
       first I will post.
Was he the reason Watford lost yesterday? No. But his
performance was really poor. As stated, inconsistent foul
detection, some of the yellows that were given weren't but other
much worse and more tactical fouls were penalised without yellow
cards. Inconsistent with the counting from throw ins and goal
kicks. Both sets of players got really frustrated that he seemed
to just be making it up as he went along. No one knew where they
stood. You didn't know what was going to be penalised, when and
       how severely.
Not a good showing. I have seen all of my teams first 7 league
and cup games and yesterday was definately the poorest
performance by an official so far.

Salisbury was poor last weekend when he officiated Sunderland v
       Fulham.
I hope he gets back on track soon after a little of a bumpy
       start to the season.
