Oh dear a very poor non offside call AR Mark Steven’s for the
opening goal he is so clearly offside I cannot fathom how he has
missed it and one of the replays showed he had a excellent view
of it and was pretty much in line with play
Tierney has been good tried to let the game flow

“Interesting” incident second half - ball is crossed into the
penalty area, defender makes himself bigger and his arm / hand
connect with the ball - split second to react however no penalty
awarded
Given West Brom had a player banned for 2 games for a similar
handball - same body position, same hand position, same time to
react, will the FA maintain consistency and issue a 2 game ban
to the defender ?
Normal offering from Tierney, appeared to lack interest, 21
fouls committed by Boro without any further sanction - clear
tactic to break play up early which they got away with
throughout
Fair result - Boro the stronger team overall however the first
goal changed the whole outlook of the game

Definitely a missed offside for first goal but that’s not Mark
Stevens.
I left before any handball decision but doesn’t sound like
deception to me…nor was it if he scored from offside either.
Though noted I disagreed with the decision to ban too.

Awful decision not to give offside for the first goal. It was
so obvious with no reason for it not to be given - not close and
assistant in the perfect position. I would like to know the
explanation as to why this wasn't given.
The offside was a 'bread and butter' decision and one you are
expected to give at Supply League football, let alone
Championship.
