Firstly, what a game that was.
Thought Brooks was generally good, all the cards deserved and a
good spot when Bassey acted like a melon and dived.
Brooks did miss two Palacios shirt pulls and didn’t card either
       of them.
No grumbles from the team on field, and watching us this season
could be a rollercoaster of crash bang wallop football.

A fit and consistent John Brooks could go to the same number of
tournaments as Oliver and Taylor, possibly challenging Kavanagh
for this season's FA Cup final.
I thought he was very good tonight.

I doubt the first, he's 36 now and not FIFA elite, and probably
not that likely to be whilst Oliver and Kavanagh are. Hopefully
he will get to at least one tournament, but I think multiple
ones are probably unlikely, first realistic one is WC 2030, more
       likely Euro 2032.
Completely agree he was very good tonight though.

       hi,
thought JB (and team) did well and the match was a great watch
for us neutrals last night - such a shame the pressure the home
side exerted in the last 20 minutes came to nothing.
       regards
       gnr
