Re the penalty. I thought there was an element of doubt in view
of the way the attacker headed down almost before there was any
contact. What bothered me was I wondered if the incident had
happened at Anfield on an away player and the ref had not given
it would VAR have overturned it or would they have decided there
was not enough evidence to overturn?

I’m guessing you’re referring to away teams not getting
penalties at Anfield. The Forest game has proven your theory to
be nonsensical fan talk rather than refereeing talk

It was an opinion and one that is held by a considerable number
of fans. It’s rather rude to refer to my comments as
nonsensical.
