nice start to the season from team ref, including 2 x correct
YC's in the first half (one for each team)

Bramall couldn’t really have asked for an easier evening.
Arsenal took any sting out of the game after going 2-0 up and
he’s done what he’s needed to. A couple of correct cautions and
then just blended into the background.
Tougher tests to come for Bramall but I do hope this season he
establishes himself as one of the top referees in the division.

It'll go some for Bramall to have an easier game this season.
Had a feeling of a pre-season friendly, or an FA Cup 3rd round
rather than a Premier League game, but then Arsenal did have the
best disciplinary record last season and the early goal probably
helped make it an easy game to officiate. No need for Bramall to
raise his profile and he didn't go looking for trouble.

hi,
all new 'tweaks' to the rules to speed things up seemed to work
well - all substitutions seemed well within the 10 seconds, even
in the last few minutes of the game.
there did seem to be a slight equipment malfunction midway
through the 2nd half when TB appeared to be struggling to do up
a wristwatch strap but it was soon resolved and play resumed
quickly.
a good evenings work all round and coventry city played some
nice football too.
