       Aberdeen v Hearts: David Dickinson

       Why was the Hearts defender sent off for the penalty? It’s
       obviously a challenge for the ball. It looked like Dickinson
       gave a free kick on field for the foul which happened 5 yards
       inside the area. If it was outside, the red card would be fair
       enough.
       The first Aberdeen goal may have been handball, impossible to
       tell. But the free kick was taken 10 yards too far forwards.
       I don’t know how highly regarded he is in Scotland but every
       time I’ve seen this referee he’s been way off it

       I thought Findlay dragged him back before the leg on leg contact
       so I thought the red card was fair enough.  He did seem to
       gesture for a free kick rather than a penalty which was a bit
       bizarre.
