PAR 2026/27 - Information

Welcome back for another year of the toughest task in football –
predicting the PGMO ProRef appointments!
Mbj44 has kindly agreed to carry on running the PAR Cup
competitions this season, so look out for details coming soon.
No need to sign up for the regular PAR. If people wish to dip in
and out then that is fine.
Premier League PAR:
No change here – You’ll need to predict the referee, fourth
official and VAR for 9 Premier League fixture. 20 points will be
awarded for each correct prediction; with a bonus 100 points
being awarded if you predict a single fixture trio correctly.
The Official Team Sheet
1 Premier League fixture each week where you will be asked to
predict all officials. Referee, Assistant Referees, 4th
Official, VAR and AVAR. 50 points per correct prediction, if
anyone manages to get all predictions right then 500 bonus
points!
EFL PAR:
EFL PAR will feature 6 fixtures from across the EFL every week.
20 points per correct prediction.
The Randomiser:
There will be 2 questions to answer for that match weeks
appointments. Questions will relate to the top four divisions
unless stated and can be predicted as 'none' if you feel no
official will meet the condition of the question. All members
can submit their own questions via PM to Ben. 20 points for a
correct prediction.
General points:
- Changing your prediction is fine, up until the appointments
are released. Any posts edited/submitted after the publication
will void that weeks entry.
- With regard to ‘last minute’ appointment changes, whoever
starts the game in that role will be taken as the appointment
for which points are given.
- Where surnames alone won't make it clear which official is
picked - please specify (i.e. J Smith, L Smith, B Madley, A
Madley etc) If in doubt, put an initial!
- Predictions submitted after appointments have been published
will be void.
- Appointments will normally be released on a Monday afternoon
(4pm), so any submissions or editing of entries after this will
be void.
