today -

We often use the word legend to describe famous sports people
who sadly depart the world into the land of the skies.
Legend barely scratches the surface on who Keegan was.. he was
the complete footballer and in his Liverpool days, arguably one
of the best players this country has produced.
He of course managed Fulham as well, and was a phenomenal boss,
he won us silverware in 1999, with promotion to the first
division.
His famous title race with Fergie was my best recollection as a
top flight boss.
He will be missed.

Awful news - some great tributes have been said. Truly one of
the games great individuals.
Fitting as well the opening weekend see's Newcastle v Liverpool.
Likely to see an incredible tribute from both sets of fans.
