There’s no foul in that and should be a Spain goal, but not a
clear / obvious error for VAR to intervene given there is
contact between the two players.

If it is a foul then Egypt and England should have benefitted
from Argentina goals being disallowed

The attacker did stand on the defenders foot accidentally so VAR
is never going to intervene but I think that is normal
footballing contact at the best.

I didn’t think anyone could get as bad as Uruguay… Argentina are
worse.
Praise to Tomasz Klancnik for stepping in when the Argentina
bench tried to absolutely bombard the Spanish player.
Players, bench, manager. The lot of them are ridiculous. They’ve
discovered a referee that doesn’t fall for their daftness and
have just exploded.

Unfortunately the ref did fall for it and var refused to correct
the mistake, other than that a missed yellow and corner var
should have corrected he has been great

Vincic has done well, but this has the potential to massively
kick off in second half of ET.
Argentina are quite frankly a disgrace with their behaviour /
tactics with regard to decisions. I am admittedly massively
biased against them, but even when I’ve squeezed my most
objective self to offer a view, their behaviour is not within
the spirit of the game.
Hopefully that goal eases things a bit for Vincic, but somehow I
don’t think so…

If that was Vincic’s last dance, what a way to end a fantastic
career.
Being the one referee to stamp authority against a classless
South American side.
Well done Slavko, you have made the 194 other countries in the
world very proud with a fantastic performance!
EDIT: The BBC are just showing footage of Parades after the
final whistle, swinging and going to punch players as if he was
out in the street. Disgusting, ridiculous, embarassing. He needs
a very hefty punishment. Parades is a disgrace.
